Fred Kart has been making the finest match Government Model barrels for over 37 years in 2003. At one time Mr. Kart made a 22 caliber conversion kit for the Government Model, but today has concentrated all of his work into the model 1911 barrel in ramped and unramped barrels in 45, 9mm, 38 super and other calibers.
