2007 U. S. FIREARMS RAFFLE GUN
The 2007 American Pistolsmiths Guild raffle gun is a United States Firearms (USFA) single action donated by the Gary Granger, Vice President Of Sales in exchange for advertising and exposure. It is chambered in 45 Colt caliber with a four and three quarter inch barrel. The gun is “in the white” and completely polished out to a 1200 grit finish ready for engraving and finishing. This fine single action is a black powder style with the hammer checkered in the appropriate 1880's style, the base pin held in place with a retaining screw, black powder chamfer on the front of the cylinder, and the serial number stamped with the appropriate font style on all parts. This is a first class single action army model ready for a small amount of work in the talented hands of a few members of the American Pistolsmiths Guild.
The work you do will be showcased in a double page, four color spread in the American Handgunner magazine with a description of the work you accomplished. The double page layout will be designed by Ishiro Nagata the world renowned firearms photographer and associate member of the Guild. The advertising value is valued at around $8,000.
The following is suggested work you might like to volunteer to do. When you are done you can send an invoice to Jim Stroh the American Pistolsmiths Guild treasurer. It would be appreciated if you can offer some discount for your labor in exchange for the advertising you will be receiving.
